We are open daily 10.00–18.00 (10.00–17.00 October – February) and closed 24–26 December. Any changes will be listed on our Visit page.
We strongly recommend a preliminary visit to familiarise yourself with the galleries and plan your routes around the museum.
All booked groups should enter the museum via the car park entrance on Leeman Road, which is located by the turning circle opposite the main car park. On arrival, groups will be directed to the Schools Meet and Greet Area located in Great Hall.
Entry to the museum is free, but charges apply for some activities. See the Schools Programme page for details.

If you are running late, please let us know as soon as possible on 01904 686 230 and we will do our best to rearrange your itinerary. This is not always possible and your school or organisation will remain liable for the cost if you miss a charged activity.
