North Shed – Groups

North Shed is home to all kinds of peculiar and fascinating railway-related objects.

A railway treasure trove

North Shed is the museum’s third largest visitor space, right after the iconic Great Hall and Station Hall. It’s packed with thousands of fascinating railway treasures, from locomotive nameplates to station signs, and brings the legendary Flying Scotsman to life through the breathtaking "100 Years, 100 Voices" exhibition.

Unmissable highlights include an astonishing model railway ingeniously crafted inside two banjo cases, the majestic Britannia statue from Euston Station, and a quirky collection of historic chamber pots that will truly capture your imagination.
