About Locomotion
Locomotion is a railway museum in Shildon, County Durham, the birthplace of the railways. Like the National Railway Museum in York, it's part of the Science Museum Group. Locomotion has a large space called Main Hall where many locomotives, carriages and other intriguing railway-related objects are on display.
