Flying Scotsman at Christmas

Enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime experience with the most famous steam engine ever, Flying Scotsman at Locomotion this Christmas time.

There's plenty to see and do at this special event at Locomotion in Shildon, with Flying Scotsman taking centre stage outside the museum in light steam.

Find out more about this event on the Locomotion website.

About Locomotion

Locomotion is a railway museum in Shildon, County Durham, the birthplace of the railways. Like the National Railway Museum in York, it's part of the Science Museum Group. Locomotion has a large space called Main Hall where many locomotives, carriages and other intriguing railway-related objects are on display.
