Flying Scotsman VR will take you on a journey back in time and around the world as you join the greatest moments in the locomotive’s past 100 years. Celebrating engineering brilliance and exploring the science behind steam power, this is a multisensory experience that will bring Flying Scotsman’s stories to life right in front of you.
Flying Scotsman will be on display in the newly updated Flying Scotsman Story exhibition, with the engine and tender separated to allow access onto the footplate.
A special centenary exhibition, Flying Scotsman: 100 Years, 100 Voices will be on display, introducing new stories of Flying Scotsman from a human perspective.
Tickets to see Flying Scotsman are free. Only a limited number of tickets are available for each time slot, so please book in advance to avoid disappointment.
